Make the beta installation idiot proof

I downloaded the beta and didn't immediately know how to run it :)

I'm on Windows 8 and .air files don't run out of the box, so after a quick search I got Adobe Air and was up and running.

I don't think this is a critical or blocking issue, but an opportunity for a minor improvement.

(I'm not familiar with AIR development, but in the link below it seems like it's possible to make the application and runtime self contained so you don't require an AIR runtime installation; http://help.adobe.com/en_US/air/build/WSfffb011ac560372f709e16db131e43659b9-8000.html)

        this is indeed an option,

It would make the download (and updates) about 10/15mb larger (right now the application is only 655kb), maybe we should offer both with and without the captive runtime in the future.
